i don't see why you couldn't.

i am a flat rate autobody tech. if work slows down and i can't book enough hours unemployment will be filed.
i haven't had to do this since the great recession.


I work in manufacturing. Haven't heard any plans to close, but, a lot of our customers are closing. Where we had (local) shipments going out daily, we're down to just two days now, and last week, even that was a stretch.
