the "OMIT WAX" (if that's what is printed) leads me to think the original intent was an event, at which it would be marketed decaled/stickered up for display & adhesion was the concern
the HEMI GTX was built ~2 weeks late, but still before the Christmas holiday - so,
"IF" it was an event, it would've been winter '68 (Jan./Feb.)
