You want it as thick as possible, many of the Mega blocks have failed, cracked, at 4.500
As far as cylinder wall thickness if it is less than .160 finished on either thrust side I won't use them for a serious N/A race motor
I would love to have one that is .250 or thicker
Maybe my Koleno block will do that at 4.560
