when i worked at another new car dealership, the owner sold out to new owners he had a large safe to move down a somewhat long flights of stairs. the movers had a special appliance dolly the was powered. it had 2 sets of wheels, 1 set that moved up and down and was battery powered. 2 movers strapped the safe to the dolly and walked the safe down the stairs easy as eating pie. they just ran it onto a HD U-Haul trailer with steel sides and strapped it down and drove away.


^^^ I have a 50-Series Liberty safe, and this is how the company I bought it from moved it to my house and placed it exactly where I wanted it. I think I paid an extra $200 for them to deliver it, and it was easy money to part with. Find a sizable safe dealer near you and see what they'll charge you to load it on a truck. Of course you'll have to figure out the logistics of getting it unloaded on the other end...
