I had good luck with the 829s when I was running 10s with a smaller cam too. The whole going faster thing with bigger everything is where the problems started.

I should have included that info. It is an older cast iron RB World block . It is unbushed and yes I would like to but am on the fence about it . It’s another part of the budget I am balancing. It does currently use solid body solid rollers now. Oil pressure has been pretty good .


You will probably be a lot better off than I am. My block has huge holes in the lifter bores where the galley is drilled through.
