They work great, but they ought to. Them things are EXPENSIVE!

Our local salvage yard bought one a couple of years ago to pull glass. The owner was saying he paid something like $1,200 for it. He didn't want to spend the coin, but his insurance coverage fairly well forced him to. And he doesn't like the fact that he has to bring the vehicle to the shop to pull the glass with the induction rather than take the torches to the vehicle. If you follow the links in original post, the machines can cost much more than even what he paid.

Most of the yards that I go to, just have their Mexicans pull the interior away from the glass and torch it out. If they had to buy one of those things at that cost and then turn their yard apes loose with it, I bet they would just quit selling glass.

But if Harbor Freight gets them in for a couple hundred bucks, I'm in. biggrin
