I bought a new MSD knock off distributor that was on e-bay. $40. bucks. Cut off above the clamping flange. Sold the top cap / rotor and remaining assembly for $20. bucks. Drilled out and put in intermediate oil pump drive block bushings top and bottom. Bought a new MSD [ for about 25% of list price ] remote distributor [ BB chevy ] altered the bracket to fit above the Jesel belt drive. The MSD has a bigger cap than the Jesel . You will get some looks and questions on that addition. As AndyF stated, get his water manifolds. I used a Stewart remote water pump. Also drilled and tapped the water manifolds for electric water temp sensors. Used a on off on toggle switch to check each side of the block which works within a couple degrees.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead
