It's not the center that makes a 450 rim. It's the wide shoulder. Google an image; you'll see the difference. At one time Dr.Diff was using the outer hoops from a Buick(?) and welding in mopar centers as those rims had the wide shoulder (or whatever you want to call it). I almost think that you'd be better off buying the repo's and widening them. That's my plan.
