There is a plate that bolts on the head, the rocker shafts need to be removed. Mine was purchased for W9 heads but my son has used it on his W2 heads, he had to make a plate but LSM sells the plate now. The main advantage to me is that it holds the spring down on its own and you can use two hands to get keepers in, out and positioned correctly.

That all being said I would check with LSM to be sure they have something that will work with your heads.

All the LSM stuff that I have is top notch.
