After a few lousy attempts with the cheapo flaring tools on SS, I bought the $200+? hydraulic flare tool kit, and although still a tough task, that is the only way IMO to flare SS.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
