main issue I have seen with Green bearings is being installed with the stock thrust pin and stock length axles.
The green bearing moves the axles in a bit from stock, so you need to either remove the diff thrust pin or take a little bit off the axle shaft ends so the bearing are not side loaded.
There are two Green Bearing types, One is solidly mounted to the housing end, and the other has a snap ring with a plate that holds the bearing in, so that one can sort of float a bit and not crack like the first type.
