thanks transman. that paint is as applied in the summer of 1971. the front fender had a mishap a couple of years later, and doesn't match.
car has many "battle scars", and i more than likely will leave it as is. i'm getting a fresh bullet ready, so hopefully, it will be out very late this year, or ready for next year.
as for the UFO, this was painted without thinking about it.
it does have a little resemblance.
