I know Harland Sharp shafts are beefy like the old RAS shafts. However, their oiling holes are drilled differently, so I don't know if that would cause problems w/ oiling at the bottom of the rockers, or if adding grooves would do the trick.
Re Harland Sharp shafts... I haven't had a set in my hands for years. Are their shafts drilled from both the top & bottom, or only the bottom? I can't find any pics that show both sides to be sure. Thx Yes. Drilled both top and bottom.. So they cant be put on the head wrong. Or that's my guess
