Converter drain back is perfectly normal, no way to stop it. The seals should hold the maximum amount of drain back without leaking, but faulty seals........

The so called anti-drainback valve in later trucks merely prevents the vertical-mounted cooler in the radiator side tank from draining back through the converter.
