Am thinking we're on the right track. Started to remove the trans this afternoon, but at 75 yrs old pooped out. What a pain, flex plate shield, trans blanket tabs. And cutting off a bolt with a hack saw blade in hand. Not at my age. I'll break out the air tools tomorrow. Thank you everyone for your input. Will keep you informed on what I find. I found that doing a little, walking away a few times during the day, you get more accomplished.
