All large family lockup input shafts and stator supports share the same spline counts and diameters so even the diesel and V-10 can be swapped, not sure you would want to though.

The diesel and V-10 use 12-3/4” converters - the stall speeds differ drastically between the two.

And while I have never tried - I think the 12-3/4” converter may not fit the regular bellhousing.



That is why you can't swap a diesel or V10 converter. They don't fit the bell housing and even if you could get it in there it would still stick out about an inch. The flex plate bolt pattern is different as well.
