Cool Charger. My friend was able to achieve the rubber bumper look by having all the chrome plating sand blasted off of his bumpers. Then he smoothed all the edges with a DA sander,then he applied several coats of high build epoxy primer,and blocked them several times. He blasted the bolts too. Then he applied the basecoat,then several coats of clear,and left them as sprayed. This gives the bumpers a plastic coated appearance. I just bought a 71 Charger R/T that is a factory Hemi Orange car with a white top and interior, and I plan on using his procedure to do the bumpers on my car.
