92 dakota, ive owned it for nearly 27 yrs!!
it developed a problem that caused it to randomly die,it always restarted ,so ive replaced the ign switch, the crank position sensor,it seemed to be ok,then it did it again,i have to turn the key completely off and recrank to get it to start,so today i checked fuel pressure which was ok,i drove it around about 15-20 miles and of course it was ok!!!,i looked at the wiring harness connection that dakotas were famous for a long time back and it was ok,so...im wondering if a bad throttle position sensor could cause my problem?,ive actually seen this truck run with the cam position sensor unhooked after it was started so i have doubts that is the problem,id rather not load up the parts cannon!!,no check engine light, anyone got any ideas???,its got lots of miles on it kinda like me,but is my favorite truck!!
