Our dragster uses the ATI adapter plate, with their flexplate and crank hub and a one piece Reid bellhousing. The starter has NO shims and the FTI converter fits as it should. My Stratus is ALL ATI and the starter has a tad over .250" of shims. My ATI flexplate also can use a bolt converter. AS for "the wheel" broke the teeth on one once and never ran another. Cost me a final round at Phoenix Divisional from that deal. Took out the starter with it as well. I do NOT use a starter with a nose on ANY of my stuff. Like JOhn been using Mopars with a glide for a very long time.
