Whaaaat? The above statement is false. I have run 187 pans in b-bodies and they don't hit the drag link, ever. And a 66-70 b-body engine to K frame and suspension is the same dimensions.
Yes a 187 pan is thicker than a 402 pan. But a 66-69 hemi pan is thicker than a 402 also. They don't rub the drag link. They fit the car and dont hit anything.
you can say what you want to, I have seen it with my own eyes, more than once, & on different cars. but thats ok, ask Hemi68charger about his Daytona with a c body pan when it had a 440 in it,my own 68 Charger had the same problem.
