I ran the parts store Monroematics in the pickup truck length with SS springs on my Satellite when I was running Bias ply D.O.T. slicks. When I switched to drag radials it started having a problem where it would hook, then start spinning 40 feet out or so.

I switched to the CE rear adjustable shocks and the problem went away and my 60 foot times improved a little. I've had a best 60 foot time of 1.66 which I think it pretty good for a street car that runs in the 7.80s in the 1/8 mile (which would be like mid 12s in the 1/4).

So if I had to do it again, I'd just buy the CE shocks in the first place.
