I had three of the four loosen up on my 69 D200 a couple years ago. The guy who put the converter in 18 years ago apparently didn't torque them down. The was the truck was running and sounding I thought I had spun a bearing so I took the engine out leaving the trans in the truck. Needless to say I was pissed when I saw the torque converter flop after taking it out of the trans...
