If your happy running 9’s and 10’s call APD in Ohio and get a carb. Make provisions for a 1/2 inch ball valve to use if needed for building heat. Before racing get it up to at least 185 degrees and let the block heat soak. Build heat driving back to the pits after your passes. Put an EGT set-up on it so you aren’t rich polluting the oil. I’ve changed my Brad apenn oil once this race season and it still looked great. My small block runs easy 9.40’s with a 850 Holley that APD converted for me.
