It's always amazed me how many people think that all the inspection marks will be identical on every car. laugh2

It was done by many different people who worked inspection on different times during assembly production.


Inspection marks are like any other aspect of restoring a car. Paint, tires, interior, and now inspector marks. No difference. You can't condemn someone for buying a shell of a car and putting seat-covers or carpet or copying the orange peel on the body paint. None of this is as the factory made it. It is just the level of detail the owner wants to achieve. I doubt the OP is attempting to fool someone into believing he has a survivor Hemi Car with zero miles that he has "Doctored". I applaud people that take their car to the next level. It is more impressive than a "Restored" car with a Sears battery, worm clamps and radials. I won't laugh at a car owner with those parts.
