Dry sump is a better system, you may or may not see any ET. Depends on how good your old system was and how much oi, you ran in the pan. The vette we have 6 quarts in it for the wet sump with a very good pan and pump. The SB2 deal I spoke of I know very well. And he saw not change on the track but it had a very good wet sump pulling 20" of vacuum so he gained nothing in the switch. It was similar to yours using an external wet sump pump as well. If you old wet sump pan was not great and you ran a lot of oil you may well find some 60' with it. The two cars I refer to were very well science out wet sumps to be sure with not a lot of oil volume. I know I mentioned it to you but we say about a 10hp loss from having to have TO MUCH oil in the pan on the dyno due to the new block being different and we needed to work on drainback with it.
