The inside of a racing pan at work is a F5 tornado, and different with every variable:
crankcase design
solid or ventilated MB bulkheads
RPM
G force
car's attitude during launch
hot oil viscosity
where does the relief valve dump to
pump flow in GPM
how far away is the bottom of the CWT from the pan
any control measures: baffles, scraper, dams, trap doors.
Even a proven one from a similar engine may not work the same way in your (better or worse).
