I disagree with your conclusion.
My thinking, cold air does make a difference, even though it may vary, and the pressure differential advantage at our highway legal speeds would likely be negligible, if even measurable.


Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
