I just read my service manual and it does say top first so Sunday I'll give it a try. Thanks for the input.-----Its official, its easier to do the top first but it takes two until you get some of the bottom gasket pulled up to support the weight.
You are right as the manual says to do it that way. I always did the opposite only because I never thought that it was necessary to look to the manual and I just did what I saw the professional glass installers do. I think a couple of suction cups would help. I will be installing mine in the near future and will try it top side in first and see how it goes.
