The factory spacing for the carters is real close together, too close for holley 600's. Depends on your DQ manifold, but most of those I have seen were set up with the wider spacing to accept either carter, (eddy) or holley with the side hung bowls (600 single feed style). I have the stage 5 on my 572 and butchered a repop 'glass AG base and mated it with two cheap aluminum drop bases from jegs. FHO has a real nice metal (IIRC) base for stage 5 intake but it's like 550.
