Second thought is that your electric fuel pump doesn't pump with the key in run position but the engine not running. If it did you would not have this issue. But if you properly installed the pump then it wouldn't run then anyway. So, you need a pushbutton "prime" circuit. So you can fill the bowl in the morning.
