I'm actually building-up a 518 or 46RH for use in a 1996 Dodge Dakota. The engine will be a 451 Big Block Stroker engine coupled to the 518/46RH using a JW Ultrabell. I probably won't be drag racing it although I may take it to the strip after it's built just to see what it will do. I'm listening to everyone's comments and taking it all in. I want the tranny to be sturdy and not give any problems, that's one reason that I want to use the Heavy Duty parts. However, I do want it to run pretty good for a street truck too. I guess that I will have to reach some type of comprimise? I want to build a list of ideas with everyone else's help. We may go ahead and list them here so that they may help others in the future as well. Keep the great ideas coming and thanks.
