When planning on installing later planetaries in an earlier 727 be aware that there were three different output shaft splines over the years. If you're looking for strength a 3-pinion steel planetary will be stronger than a 6-pinion aluminum planetary; the spline in the aluminum planet carrier is the weak spot, not the pinion count.
