Hey guys, here goes,I have a 69 super bee 3.91 gears, 2,800 stall auto,383 stock.I have a 67 440 engine to build. My combo so far is indy rotating [Edited by Moparts - Keep it clean].440cu to 500cu.I want at least 10to1 to 10.3to1 comp.I was thinking of running the edelbrock rpm hesds and intake. My problem is cam choice.I want a drag car idle but I dont want to over cam itand I still want to drive from town to town with no problems.I hate going to car shows and having a car that idles like a station wagon. So this is what I have so far.
comp.xe284h
240 246 .507 .510 110 2,300 to 6,500rpm
or
lunati60304 voodo
234 242 .513 .533 110 2,200 to 6,400rpm
with tti headers 1 7/8 inch
Has anybody ran these cams? or is there a better cam out there for my set up?
I also thought of ordering a custom grind thumper cam from comp. cams.Any way I would like to hear your thoughts. Thanks R.B.
