I haven't read the entire thread recently, why again are you replacing the "bent" ones? They are FWIW only loaded heavily during braking, and that is in tension, ie, that tries to straighten out the bend. Any attempt to bench straighten them, would only improve matters, visually, and reduce any possible lengthening as the bend straightens under braking. twocents

edit, before we obsess on the bend straightening issues, my guess is the OEM rubber bushing solution by itself used on millions of mopars, allows 1/4"? of movement (which is a lot more then your pictured bend could possibly contribute) in hard/daily use, and really hasn't been a concern. Its a minor issue on anything that is not on the track IMO.
