I need to replace the copper horn slip ring on my challenger as the wire tab attached to it has broken off. To remove the old one, must remove turn signal cancel spring.

My question is not how to install it, but how to remove it safely.

I have grabbed with pliers no success, grabbed with vice grips,,nope but did not force hard because of breakage concern.

I have marked with a file so can place back in correct position.

Hope you never have to find one of these rings. Non other currently posted anywhere. The one I did find the wire is too short and I must lengthen it. Cost a fortune for a nos one

I did Bubba re-solder this wire to my ring but failed on a couple of weeks.
