Any tips on how to re-install the heavy signal cancelling spring on the rear of the steering wheel can?? Looks like tough task to spread it.
thanks

gOT ANY PICTURES?

No pics today-I'm at work.
The term spring could be confusing- It is actually a heavy wire coil that wraps around the center shaft of
the lower portion of the steering wheel mounting (crush can). One end of this coil turns 90 degrees and portrudes downward and actually trips (cancels)the turn signal switch as the wheel is turned. It is difficult to spread the coil to seat it on its shaft. This is where my troubles lie.
If my assessment of how this works is flawed, someone please correct me.
