The car didn't have rear brakes - I mean there were no brakes on it. So I ordered this kit and I find a disclaimer at the end of the instruction stating that if I don't consistently use the park brake, the calipers will not adjust. It seems these calipers are modeled after some 70's GM style. On top of that, the calipers wouldn't adjust out enough to allow the rotors to move so basically the brakes are locked up upon installation. I have messed with this longer than is reasonable. I am not new these type projects. I don't have confidence in the product so I'm sending them back if I can.

If I could find a good set of 10.5 or 11" 8 3/4 drums I may just go with that unless someone has another suggestion.
