bwwhahahaha!!! I had this revelation last night.. I have brake woes myself. I bought a budget-build rear disc conversion for my '73 Cuda and what I got was a budget-build rear disc conversion. I am working through this thing with poor instructions and cheap parts, and half-answer help from the vendor telling myself, "it's gonna fit just fine". Then it occurred to me that it may not stop. I'm looking for a new direction or even going with drums.
