It was from a discussion on the differences in bellhousings between Hemi's and B/RB motors. Apparently, the Hemi uses a unique 8-bolt 172 tooth flywheel, a unique bellhousing and unique starter.

That explains a lot and very helpful. It probably explains why the perfectly good original bellhousing was not in the car but came with it, and the car had a different one in it. Have to look at it and see what it is. The owner passed away and his brother couldn't tell me much about any of it.
