Aha...yeah, I'd guess that ETs doing it that way could be 7s (faster than FS) and the chassis investments would be fairly safe. I would think the existing PS package already has the aero fairly standardized, though with FCA having dumped the Dart, a downsized Challenger (which may be coming anyway) or a new model would have to enter production.
Like Slantzilla says, and it's true across motorsports, that racers being racers, they'll look to politic for an advantage; but without having the Big 3 all involved, PS is doomed as it is now. Time for a "come to Jesus" talk with them & NHRA.
