The Dacco catalog lists Hi-stall and Low-Stall versions of most torqueflite stock converters. Dig around the catalog and find the Hi-stall variety you need.

JCCuda posted about his cool little 70 Valiant 4 door that weighed 3,320 with Driver and ran a cheapo Dacco converter. The best run was 11.96/113 but it typically went 12.0's in decent air. Typical 60'was low 1.70's
