I think Edelbrock did the same thing that MP did on the solid Hemi cast heads. They tilted the exhaust valve around the point where the rocker arm would contact the valve tip. There was a bit of a pocket around the exhaust valve head since the valve centerline was no longer going through the center of the chamber radius. I sold those heads to Hemi Fred for his turbo project several years back.
