Save your money and buy a steel core dash. It will look nice at first, but in time IT WILL warp and then all you have in a ruffled dash pad with no cracks. twocents

Your basing this on what facts or info? I've got 2 ABS core E body dashes, the oldest being approx 5+ yrs old with ZERO issues on either unit

No bashing intended, just my two cents. Probably should have stated it is all relevant to location. In Vegas, it will warp in time. Regular electrical pvc turns black and will look like a worm in a few months of the extreme summer heat. Water pvc is just as susceptible, turns brittle and breaks/splinters. Other plastics will eventually disintegrate as well. Plastic on vehicles exposed to the extreme heat also have issues, just not fading. An ABS plastic core dash frame could reach temps of 150+ degrees in the summer months. Plastic subjected to the highs and then dropping as the night approaches will have an effect on it. Now up north, may not as susceptible. twocents
