What year? I am going to assume 72-93? Part selection really all depends on what you are doing with it and what the desired finished product is (38.5" tires, 8" lift etc etc)

The NP 205 is the strongest transfer case you could get in an oem. You do lose some usability, no shift on the fly etc.

A dana 60 front is nice, but if you aren't running over 35's,beating on it with some massive horsepower or putting a cummins over it the 44's are just fine.

If you plan on doing a ton of work, new shackles and hangers etc there is more of a selection with chevy springs, and the flexing guys definitely get more movement out of them. But for something basic I would stick with the Dodges.
