I have a 410 with aluminum W2 heads and a hydraulic cam. I had a couple of adjusters come loose driving home from LVMS. The result is is can't get one lifter to not have an unreasonably loud noise. Since at 74 I am done racing, I am installing stock lifters. I will put cam lube on the lobes and lifter face. Do I need to break it in just like a new cam?
