I had both the orange box and the chrome box on my 1968 10 second Dart, to see if there was any difference in performance. I shifted my 395 stroker W2 small block at 7,200 rpm. Guess what? No difference in performance, and the orange box worked flawlessly to 7,200 rpm!
probably the only difference is the price and the shiny chrome.
