not sure on a brand as pumps tend to be very reliable (in my exp). I'm wondering if the impeller moved foreward & is rubbing the body or rearward & is hitting the t cover smooth recess (there's alot of distance on the 2nd one so I would guess the pump body. here's a BTT for you
