You would need to leave whichever neutral safety switch the truck has in place. The neutral safety is activated my the rooster comb on the valve body (the part the linkage activates and the park rod connects too) , look at the 2 of them , if they are different just swap the part needed from the original to the donor . running up my post count some more .
