I can't tell you about any of my older stuff.

But my 2010 Ram has oil temp in the digital display on the dash. Typically oil temp hangs right around coolant temp, 190-205. If i'm running it hard, climbing a hill while pulling oil temp can climb to 240. That's the hottest I've ever seen it and within operating range of most conventional oils. Synthetics can be go 300+ without worry.

215 doesn't scare me. I'd just keep an eye on the oil and if it starts to get ugly change it.
