Comp Cams break in lube for cams with non roller lifters is a thick red liquid, it does manage to get all over anything close to it also runaway scopeI wouldn't use it an anything other than the cam lobes and lifter bottoms, not on bearings, rings, wrist pins or valve guides tsk twocents
